Are you a person that enjoys outdoor recreation?
Catherine Gowan from the University of Washington seeks your input. She is a graduate student at UW and is looking for people to participate in a group discussion regarding the forests around Forks and recreation. If you enjoy hiking, biking, birdwatching, ATVing, mushroom picking, walking your dogs, sight-seeing, or simply enjoy driving through the forest she is interested in talking to you. She will be holding two meetings at the Olympic Natural Resource Center on the 11th of July, in the afternoon and evening. This is part of a larger project involving all of the stakeholders of the forests around Forks and we want to make sure that recreationists’ voices are heard.
The meetings will be causal conversations that last approximately two hours. We will be providing dinner or lunch, depending on the time of the meeting.
Limited space to 5-8 people per group.
Please contact Catherine for more details on times and availability.
