Hello West End Community!
Get out of the rain and come by Peninsula College Forks campus to see our current photography exhibit by Deborah Espinosa, “Living with Conviction: Sentenced to Debt for Life in Washington State”. Espinosa is an attorney, multimedia storyteller, activist, and the founder of Living with Conviction (https://www.livingwithconviction.org/).
Through photography and interviews, Espinosa helps to illustrate how LFOs (legal financial obligations) can create a lifetime of debt and hinder successful reentry back into the community after incarceration. Ms. Espinosa will present her work at Studium West later this month (January 24 at 7:00pm) but her photography exhibit is currently up!
Both the exhibit and Studium are free and open to the public (exhibit hours: Monday – Thursday, 10am – 6pm). The college is located at 481 S. Forks Ave.
