Hello West End Community!
Please join us for our next Studium West on Friday, March 6 at 7:00pm. Daniel Gullotta, historian of religion and PhD student in religious studies at Stanford University, will present “Andrew Jackson, Native Americans, and the Indian Removal Act”. Even though Andrew Jackson was president for just eight years, his influence on American politics was pervasive before and after his time in office. In his presentation, Mr. Gullotta will speak about the “Age of Jacksonian Democracy” and examine how democratic this period really was.
This event is free and open to the community.
