All children 12 and under welcome. Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Donuts provided free of charge. Donations appreciated.
Sportsmen Club has poles to loan or bring your fishing poles and tackle! Fishing gear is first come, first served.
5 fish limit per fisher, ex: the first 5 you catch
Club members available to help young fishers. Parental support, supervision/guidance appreciated.

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women March
Sunday May 5, 2019
Walk begins at Tillicum Park at 11 am. We will walk down to the Forks Transit station, then back to the park. Following the walk, there will be a presentation.
Food Vendors will present along with tables where you can participate in crafts to remember the MMIW victims.
Public Meeting regarding Forests and Climate Change

Public Meeting at Olympic Natural Resources Center, 1455 S. Forks Ave Forks, WA
The Clallam County Commissioners, will host a climate change event at the Olympic Natural Resource Center. Guest Speakers will be Professor Bernard Bormann and Clallam County Health Officer Dr. Allison Unthank. Professor Bernard Bormann will be speaking about connecting forests to climate change. Clallam County Health Officer Dr. Allison Unthank will be speaking on the public health impacts of wildfire smoke.
The public is welcome to attend this event.

NORTH FORK STUDIOS is a multi-media production company based in Olympia, Washington and specializing in video storytelling with a focus on outdoor, adventure and conservation. For eight years, Shane was actively involved in the film and television industry in Los Angeles, CA working on commercials, feature films, TV, radio, and documentary mediums. He then decided to embark on his own path merging his love for the outdoors with visual storytelling.

Family Storytimes feature stories, music, rhymes, and plenty of movement and fun! Activities such as talking, reading, playing, and singing all play an important role in early childhood development. After each session, parents and caregivers will have an opportunity to visit and swap information about parenting resources in the community.
Herb Senft is an officer of the North Olympic Peninsula Bee Keeper’s Association, and the retired owner of Skyline Nursery who propagated rare and unusual trees and perennials in the Sequim and Port Angeles area since the early 1980’s. The nursery may be closed, but he has kept his plant websites going in hopes to assist others in landscaping their own property.
Please come on down to the Rainforest Arts Center, here in Forks, Y’all, and listen to the newest band on the West End.
On Friday, May 10th, at 7pm, Boothill Express will entertain us with a foot stompin’ mix of country, blues, and rock n’ roll. It is bound to be an amazing time.
This is a family friendly event. There will be tables and chairs set up for folks to listen and to visit, and of course that amazing dance floor is there for all of you who want to kick up your boot heels, and dance. The theme is Cowboy/Cowgirl, so please feel free dress in your favorite western attire.
Admission and refreshments are by donation, and no one will be turned away.

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive May 11
Saturday, May 11, marks the 27th anniversary of the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Each year on the second Saturday of May, mail carriers across the country collect non-perishable food donations from postal customers. Participating in this year’s Mail Carrier Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is simple.
Customers can just leave non-perishable food donations in or by their mailbox on Saturday, May 11, and your mail carrier will do the rest. Donations can also be dropped off anytime at the Forks, Beaver and La Push post offices. All local donations will go to the Forks Food Bank. Last year locally, 600 pounds was collected. In previous years carriers have collected as much as 1,180 pounds. Your local mail carriers appreciate the community support in making this year’s food drive a success!

The Forks Open Aire Market is an organization of local craftpersons, artists, gardeners,
sellers and swappers, coming together on Saturdays to showcase and sell our crafts, arts, wearables, edibles, growables & swapables.

We want to help!
Rents 10 ft by 10 ft spaces for only $5 per Saturday,
collected at the end of each Saturday.
You provide your own tables, and canopy if you wish one.
Join us for one day, once a month, or the whole summer.
We welcome new members, and understand it can be difficult to begin a new enterprise.
