As part of the Summer Reading Program, the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) is excited to host world-famous The Lucky Band on Monday, July 22! The Lucky Band will perform at the Forks Branch Library at 10:30am, the Sequim Branch Library at 3pm, and again at the Port Angeles Main Library at 6:30pm.
Families and kids of all ages–get ready to move and shake to these fresh pop tunes! This Grammy and Emmy Award-winning group performs music for the whole family to enjoy with smart, crafty lyrics, and irresistible beats. Dubbed “the face of kindie music” by the Washington Post, husband and wife duo, Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis have been featured on NPR, CNN, Univision and PBS. Previously known as Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, they now tour as The Lucky Band. Their latest album Buenos Diaz is a bilingual celebration of family life that Zoogobble claims are “eleven tracks of pop joy.”
