4 GG – Round Robin Tournament.  All proceeds go to the Fred Orr Scholarship Fund.

Fred Orr was our town Santa and dedicated to the community.

This tournament attracts teams from across the state of Washington, the Northwest and British Columbia!

Location: Tillicum Park Ball Fields.

October 9 Log Tour in recognition of our Hickory Shirt Heritage Days Celebration

Tours are limited to 12 people so reservations are recommended.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for registration purposes.

Park at the south end of the parking lot.

Tours are free but donations are gladly accepted!

Appropriate footwear required (boots or sneakers are acceptable ~ sandals, flip flops or open-toed shoes are not).

Cameras are allowed.

Bring a jacket.

Children over 8 are welcome.

Guided Tidepool Walks @ Beach 4 Trailhead @ Kalaloch

World-class tidepool and beach exploration at Beach 4 at Kalaloch with Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary experts. Meet at Beach 4 Trailhead.

During these incredibly low tides, it’s a great place to discover marine life and Get Into You Sanctuary. Wear sturdy shoes or rubber boots that can get wet. Dress in layers and bring raingear, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

Books and Cookies: a book discussion group for 5th & 6th graders

 

Fifth and Sixth Graders! Want to hang out and talk about books? Join friends new and old for Books & Cookies at the Forks Branch Library of the North Olympic Library System! Talk about books, characters, and authors YOU love! Share and discuss your favorite titles with others and hear about new books that you may want to read in the future. There will be cookies, book conversations, and fun with friends!

This “just for fun” book group is for students in the 5th and 6th grades. Meet at the Forks Branch Library, at 3:30pm on the first Friday of each month beginning October 5.
