Forks Logging & Mill Tour

October 9 Log Tour in recognition of our Hickory Shirt Heritage Days Celebration

Tours are limited to 12 people so reservations are recommended.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for registration purposes.

Park at the south end of the parking lot.

Tours are free but donations are gladly accepted!

Appropriate footwear required (boots or sneakers are acceptable ~ sandals, flip flops or open-toed shoes are not).

Cameras are allowed.

Bring a jacket.

Children over 8 are welcome.

Show your library card for free lane and shoe rentals on Friday, August 16 from 3-5pm. Don’t have a library card? – you will be able to sign up for one at the door! All ages are welcome; youth under 12 years of age should be accompanied by an adult. Sunset Lanes is located at 261 East E Street in Forks.

The Forks Open Aire Market is an organization of local craftpersons, artists, gardeners,
sellers and swappers, coming together on Saturdays to showcase and sell our crafts, arts, wearables, edibles, growables & swapables.

Do you have a craft you enjoy?
Would you like the opportunity to sell some of the items you create?

Are you a successful gardener?
Would you like to sell your abundance to those who welcome fresh produce, flowers or plants?

Are you an artist or photographer
who would like to showcase your creations?
Do you have items in your house or apartment that you would like to sell?
Are you a sales agent for a company, and wish to enlarge your customer base?

We want to help!

 Rents 10 ft by 10 ft spaces for only $5 per Saturday,
collected at the end of each Saturday.
You provide your own tables, and canopy if you wish one.
Join us for one day, once a month, or the whole summer.
We welcome new members, and understand it can be difficult to begin a new enterprise.

🤪 Running For Justus will be held August 17th @ 10am, starting at the high school circle parking lot. Hope to see everybody there!! 💙 A huge thank you goes out to everybody who has showed their support for my family during this time, you all are amazing! 😊

 I will be taking orders very soon for shirts! Just a reminder,

Run/Walk Only- $10
Slight change to the shirts, they will be navy blue and gold I did not realize the original design was royal blue. Once again thank you all for your patience. This is where I will be posting more often!! 💙

Forks History and More

The West End Historical Society and Forks Timber Museum announce that they will combine efforts for their monthly programs.

Every third Tuesday, these historical presentations will be brought to you at the First Congregational Church,  a short board meeting Timber Museum Board meets at 11:30 a.m. and the WEHS meeting starts at noon.

November’s program will be a presentation of some of the Historical Society’s old slide photographs from the late 1800s to mid-1900s.

December’s program will feature Lonnie Archibald talking about his new book, “Let’s Go Truckin,” with a book signing to follow.

Please come join us for these lively presentations and discussions. You are welcome to bring your own items to share and we encourage questions.

The museum board meetings and historical presentations are free and open to the public

The 95th Annual Celebration of the Makah culture focused around Makah patriotism for the U.S.

This celebration spans three days with canoe races, bone games, kids races, royalty, salmon bake, traditional dancing, talent show, vendors and a FIREWORK show that will leave you eager for next year!

Our annual celebration includes a multitude of activities which honor our ancient culture & traditions and commemorate our tribal history.
