October 9 Log Tour in recognition of our Hickory Shirt Heritage Days Celebration

Tours are limited to 12 people so reservations are recommended.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for registration purposes.

Park at the south end of the parking lot.

Tours are free but donations are gladly accepted!

Appropriate footwear required (boots or sneakers are acceptable ~ sandals, flip flops or open-toed shoes are not).

Cameras are allowed.

Bring a jacket.

Children over 8 are welcome.

Anime Your Way @ Forks Branch Library

Are you an anime or manga fan? Illustrator Carlos Nieto III will present Anime Your Way at the Forks Branch Library on August 8 at 3pm. He will repeat the workshop on Friday, August 9 at 1pm at the Sequim Branch Library and at 4pm at the Port Angeles Main Library. Japanese-style illustration in graphic novels has gained popularity among many age groups all around the world. Nieto will bring his own anime teaching style to instruct teens and tweens how to draw in this distinctive art form. Workshops will be about 75 minutes long.

The Forks Open Aire Market is an organization of local craftpersons, artists, gardeners,
sellers and swappers, coming together on Saturdays to showcase and sell our crafts, arts, wearables, edibles, growables & swapables.

Do you have a craft you enjoy?
Would you like the opportunity to sell some of the items you create?

Are you a successful gardener?
Would you like to sell your abundance to those who welcome fresh produce, flowers or plants?

Are you an artist or photographer
who would like to showcase your creations?
Do you have items in your house or apartment that you would like to sell?
Are you a sales agent for a company, and wish to enlarge your customer base?

We want to help!

 Rents 10 ft by 10 ft spaces for only $5 per Saturday,
collected at the end of each Saturday.
You provide your own tables, and canopy if you wish one.
Join us for one day, once a month, or the whole summer.
We welcome new members, and understand it can be difficult to begin a new enterprise.

Space Quest @ Forks Branch Library

As part of the Summer Reading Program, the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) is excited to host Space Quest with Idea Hatch on Tuesday, August 13! Space Quest will be held from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Sequim Middle School, and 4-5pm at the Forks Branch Library.
Children can test real meteorites, and peer into an infinity star box! Spin a vortex dome, and make clouds and lightning! Create a planet, and watch it orbit! These stations encourage creative learning and fun for 5-12 year olds. Youth 8 years of age and younger should be accompanied by an adult. Idea Hatch: STEAM for Kids was created by Science Educator Heidi Larson of Olympia, Washington.
